CCS2 and GB/T don’t just differ in physical interface — their communication protocols, handshake sequences and safety models are entirely different. Adaptx performs real-time bidirectional translation in the middle, not simple pin remapping.
CCS2 uses PLC (Power Line Communication); GB/T uses a CAN bus. Adaptx handles the physical mating of both buses and signal conditioning at the hardware level, ensuring handshake signals are correctly recognised on both sides.
ISO 15118 message structures and GB/T 27930 CAN frame formats are fundamentally different. The Adaptx core maintains a bidirectional mapping table and translates each frame in under 10 ms — covering authorisation, parameter negotiation, charging control and settlement.
The two standards use different safety models — CCS2 relies on PLC-layer digital signatures, GB/T on CAN-layer state-machine interlocks. Adaptx maintains independent safety state machines on both sides during translation; any anomaly on either side immediately cuts the charging circuit.
